cleaning / servicing pc !

in the past i have never bothered so much to clean inside a case, just once a year or somthing!

but now every month or so i clean my fans and hoover inside the case, ill try and hoover of the heatsinks aswell, then every 2/3 months ill remove the cpu and gpu coolers aswell to fully clean the heatsinks and make sure they have fresh thermal paste, i like to think its my way of " servicing " my pc to make sure everything stays as cool as possable and gives me a better chance of things not overheating and blowing up on me, so how about you lot

Used to right into my pc but now days as long as it works im happy.

I run a mostly passive water cooled pc so I don't get much dust. Also I don't seem to ever finish building it so the covers rarely go back on

I try and upgrade once a year so I don't have to clean it

I live in a dusty place so a quick vacuum of the HSF and vents every month or two keeps temps down.

Reseating the heatsinks every 2-3 months is probably a little obsessive.

ye, i only change it cause i have spare thermal past, i dout ill change it at all once i run out untill i change/replace somthing
