Cleaning TFT?

Whats the best thing to clean a tft screen with?

damp cloth.....i wouldnt use anything else.....work for me.

Damp lint free cloth, or some proper TFT cleaning solution.

Spontex window wonder. It's superb microfibre cloth and it's available in most superstores (Waitrose, Sainsbury ... etc) and it's definitely doing wonders. I'm using this for over a year now and it's my first choice for the LCD cleaning. You can use it dry or slightly dump (for the really bad smears and it should be moisten sparingly).

What do you mean ?! What will eat what ? No chemicals involved here. It's just pure, super-fine microfibre cloth, as usually I just have to pick up the dust from the screen. As I mentioned, for the more problematic marks slightly moisten version will do the job, as sometimes dump cloth is simply no go. I tried the lens cleaner cloth, "special" LCD cleaning tissues and who knows what else ... no joy and at the end found this cloth and I'm perfectly happy. I was cleaning my 32" LCD TV, now my monitor LCD and it's doing the great job.

All 5 LCD Screens in this house seem very happy with Meguiars Glass Cleaner + Lint free cloth.

Indeed. I would like more "detailed" explanation from our friend above, as the "that will eat that" doesn't hold the water for me

I use 'Klear Screen' which comes in a small spray bottle along with some cleaning and polishing cloths. eBay is usually the cheapest place for it.
