Cleaning the new radiator...?

I've read several times that I should clean the internal part of a new radiator before using it. Is this needed? I've seen it is for cleaning manufacturing debris.

Should I use hot water from the tap or should I use deionised water even if its just for cleaning(which would cost me)?

Note that I will be using Mayhems H2O fluid (pure water) with biocide additives.

Thanks for any replies.

use hot tap water in the first instance, but you are best off using some DI for a final clean before you add it to your loop

you can get DI for around £1 per litre from any motor factors or Wilko, or even Tescos sometimes

I used hot tap water to clear then set up a loop in a spare room with deionized water and let it run over night. 2 months down line no clouding or dirt issues in mine i picked up a 5 liter bottle of battery water from halfords for about a fiver
