whats the best way to clean my 24" flat screen monitor ?
i have a couple of sneeze shots on there

I used flash, a damp cloth, a dry cloth, another damp cloth. Leaves no smears!

1) Spray Flash onto 1 damp cloth
2) give screen a scrub
3) wipe with another damp cloth
4) wipe wih dry cloth
5) rinse out another cloth untill its BARELEY EVEN DAMP and wipe over again
6) Enjoy a smear free perfectly clean moniter!

Is using Flash a good idea??

I got some wax on mine, blew a candle out that was too near the screen. You can only tell when the monitor is turned off. Normally for a clean which I don't do often enough, is a slightly damp piece of kithen roll followed by a dry piece. Seems to be fine.

Microfibre cloth with water is usually all that's needed, but if you do have to use something stronger I always recommend a 20/80 mix of Isopropyl alcohol and water.

Wouldn't use kitchen towel as it contains lint which can scratch the thin anti-glare coating on a monitor.

Microfibre glasses cloth and glasses cleaning spray works wonders and is great for leaving no streaks or nothing as the stuff is designed for the lenses on glasses anyway.
