Hi there,

I built my system a while back now and I've been doing little bits of maintenance on my water cooling but nothing drastic. I have the LCS installed which comes with the Thermaltake Kandalf and I'm pretty sure it's time a complete clean up.

I've never drained my system before, so could someone recommend how and some tips on fully flushing through everything. I can remove all components from my rig except the radiator which is built into the door of the tower!

I've ordered new cooling fluid & new tubing (3/8), so I only need to clean out the rad, reservoir & waterblock I guess. Tips & advice welcomed, I think my water flow is quite slow :(

To drain your system cut/remove tubing at the lowest point and let mavity do the work for you.
If you're planning for a serious complete clean out, this is what I do.
Mix together some white vinegar + distilled water in a 15:85 ratio. (Must be white vinegar). And then run the solution round the loop for ~2hrs+ depending on what you think it needs. Then I'd run pure distilled water round to wash out the vinegar. Then replace all the tubing with lovely new stuff and start the loop up again with new coolant.
