Hi guys what do you use to clean all the little bits off that only seem to be visible when the sun is infront?
Cheers

Yea that is exactly it. I did try a clay bar but that didnt really do anything.Do you mean you get a sort of rainbow sparkle from all over the windscreen when driving into direct sunlight? If so, I get the same, especially noticeable on a very clean windscreen, so I'd be interested in possible solutions for this too. Maybe they are microscopic chips all over the surface of the screen, but I don't that this is likely; they are too widely spread and uniform distribution.
I clean my windscreen with a razor blade and Stoner Invisible Glass until it's completely smooth, so it's nothing on the surface. Using a hand-applied glass polish makes the problem more apparent if anything.
Here's a scary thought, has anyone used the 000 steel wool approach? I don't think I'd try it but if the screen is bad it might be worth a try with some glas polish.
Andi.
Where can you buy 0000 from? I need to give this a go on my MarkX, it has mega stubborn water spots on all the glass except the front screen. Have seen that the steel wool solution really works to remove them.
Simple and cheap isopropyl is the best thing I've used. For cleaning inside and out.
I wouldn't spray it directly on or it will go everywhere, it probably isn't great for seals.
