Clearance around case

I'm looking to buy an Antec 300 case. My current cheap generic case has virtually identical dimensions. It fits into a prebuilt, built in computer desk and has about 10mm clearance either side (plenty of space above the case though). My Q6600 runs at 44C. I'm planning to run an oc'd i5 2500K. Am I going to have overheating issues.

if you can, a hole at the rear (near the top) to allow the hot air to escape would be beneficial

I could get away with that. The clearance (or relayive lack of it) around the side is okay?

Sides should be fine. Some good fans on front and some good exhaust with, as mentioned, a hole for the warm air to escape should be fine
