Hi

Just ordered the below item from the clearance section. Are these new items or refurbished, and do they come with the box, cables etc.

Asus P5N-E SLi nForce 650 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400 Dual Channel Special Ops XTC Series DDR2.

Also is there a limited warranty on these.

As far as I'm aware they're all brand new with full warranties - they've just put them in that section as they want to get rid of them.

I may be wrong though, that's just my understanding of it.

some of it, is purchased and opened and then returned IIRC

I think stuff like that they have to sell as B-Grade.

Would be nice to get confirmation either way from one of the OcUK staff that post on here though :)

I ordered the same mobo from clearance on Thursday and although it says OEM it still came with most of the accessories - Original box, 2 SATA cables, 1 IDE cable and 1 floppy cable, driver CD & ASUS sticker, Manual & SLI bridge but didn't include the 1 thing I needed - I/O plate... It looks like a previous customer return.

Also ordered 2 OCZ 1Gb PC8000 kits from clearance which arrived in brand new condition :)

some of the stuff in clearance has a tendancy to be priced higher than the same performance stock in normal shop tho :(

I know. They update it like once every 6 months.

Then again I spotted a great bargain once. A pentium 4 chip. 2ghz  (brilliant eh) for a measly £10,000 :D

now thats a bargain.
Im fairly sure a 2week warranty is wrong for b-grade. It should come with atleast a year since its got a higher chance of being faulty due to possibility of being repaired since a fault was present in the first place

I ordered a PSU from clearance - OCZ Powerstream 600W at £50 + VAT. When it arrived I actually got a current model OCZ GameXstream 600W for the same price so saved a tenner. Thanks OcUK ;)

I've bought from clearance and b-grade recently.

The clearance item (1800xt 512mb) brand new still in its wrapping

The b-grade item (a case) was something that had been opened and returned unused, it even still had the original address on it. The box was a little tatty but the case was in perfect condition
