Cleared CMOS Overclock Question

Hey all, noob question alert!

I had to clear my CMOS recently and when entering the bios it appears as though my modest overclock is still there. The bios says my CPU is at 3.2.

However when testing with CPUZ and CPU speed Pro results show the stock speed of 2.8.

Can someone explain for me?
 
Well for one, if you cleared the CMOS properly the overclock shouldn't still be there... did you take the battery out for a minute or did you just use jumpers/button? Battery out is always a guaranteed CMOS reset :)

As for the difference in clock speeds, it could be SpeedStep (if Intel) or Cool'n'Quiet (if AMD)
