I know how to do it, swap the jumper from pin 1 & 2, to pin 2 & 3 then swap it back.

But what does it actually do?
When I start the PC up sometimes i get "please reset the CPU or memory freq in the CMOS" (or something along those lines)

I did change the CPU multiplier, memory timings and freq so I'm guessing that's the issue, hopefully be cleared by this CMOS jumper...?

Thanks

clearing cmos resets the settings back to the manufacturers defaults. using reset default inside the bios often doesnt fix problems, phsyically resetting cmos is MUCH more reliable.

Take the mobo battery out first.

The jumpers will look like this:

O-O O

Move the linker so they look like this:

O O-O

Then wait a minute or so, move the linker back, and reconnect the battery.
