Clem Burke has died.

Heard this on the wireless earlier. Clem was a top drummer and I wasn’t even aware he was ill. His style really gave Blondie their sound.

This is my favourite track of theirs, and suitably melancholic.

That’s a good choice. I’ve been a Blondie fan since the late 70s and went down a bit of a Clem rabbit hole on YouTube last year. UCB shows off his drumming really well.

I think it was great that he went on tour drumming for a Blondie tribute band a while back.

RIP fella, I heard dreaming when i came out and I have never heard drumming like that before and I don't think I ever have since and that was a long long time ago.

Just found this out now. RIP Clem, one of my favourite drummers. Luckily I did get to see him live a few years ago. Amazing.
