Clever fixes/hacks you've done

I love me a good crafty fix, where you just use what's around you and don't have to wait ages for parts or tools to be delivered. I fix lots of things creatively, especially if I'm away from my workshop.

This week I had to move our TV to a new room while house moving happens. Realised at 6.59pm there's no antenna feed and we couldn't watch Simpsons. Solution? Coax extension out the window, not bad but not great. Added a crocodile clip to bring the live pin outside the shield - perfect signal!

What's your latest hack?

No, I mean "Thing I figured out for myself that doesn't need to be reusable or passed on at all". Commonly referred to as a hack in my circles.

Couldn't comment on Daily Fail relevance as never read it.

What are your useful tips?
