Just wanted to draw attention to the link in my sig. Cup count is lower than usual. One click!? Its not much effort really, I do it everyday. Perhaps a few more of you make a linky ;)

EDIT: Some people are sceptical it seems. Of course you should be as it seems too good to be true, however I do trust independant sites like this one that tell me how it is.

I did it, but I've always been curious as to how (and if) these work... Anyone want to enlighten me?

Sponsors. You click on the link, sponsors pay the site. Money then goes to feed people. Sponsors advertise there because people visit it.

How does the site work? Who pays for the food?
The site's sponsors pay for your daily click. The sponsors purchase tiles on the Thank You page for a certain amount of time. The Hunger Site then tabulates the number of people who click during that time frame and bill the sponsor for the appropriate amount. The Hunger Site divides the monies between two leading hunger relief organizations: America's Second Harvest and Mercy Corps.

Or it could just do nothing but send a mere fraction if anything - but that's just the cynic in me talking. I've clicked anyway. :)

Like Freefaller I am also a cynic. Charitable spam, that is all that it is and I doubt it will make any difference in the real world.

I did click though, on all of them. :D

Great idea, well done that man.
Clicked and will be any time i think of it.
