Click/snap noise

Hello guys have just done a barebones assembly of my
new build..

When i turn it on/off/restart
There are 2 loud Click/Snap sounds
1st at the mobo 2nd around psu area

All i have conected is the psu and ssd's/Hdd
I have checked all wires re seated ram etc etc

worried as a spot reading suggests the noise is a short electricity jumping between points

psu is a seasonic 860w plat and mobo is the Asus VIII Ranger

any ideas ?

Can you record the noise you are hearing? The only similar sound l get on my PC is when l change the headphone gain on my soundcard.
