Clicking/ticking noise from 7950

Afternoon,

I have noticed a strange clicking noise coming from what I think is my HIS 7950 IceQ Turbo as the noise has only become apparent since installing it.

It always happens after I have been playing games and the card is cooling down. I thought it may be the fan on the card but I stopped the fan with my finger and the noise carries on.

It only usually lasts a minute or two. It almost sounds like a fast ticking.

Any ideas what it is?

I don't think so. There is no whining noise and it's never under load. It just ticks after its been used heavily

Is it not the fan shroud ticking when cooling down ?

Is it definetly on the card and not a wire on a fan somewhere else?

Sounds like it could be Hard drive spinning. Can you put your ear but HDD when you access some folders.
