client running asynchronous

One of the working clients on my ailing machine seems to running asynchronous.
Im just wondering if this is going to cause any problems to either the WU being Folded or to the hardware it is being run on.

Of note it only seems to have been running asynchronous since i removed the cooling unit from the video card to give it a D*** good cleaning.
Which has resulted in the card running a lot cooler as well as my cpu running a lot cooler as i also dismanteled the HSF unit also and gave it a good clean which has neted a 14c drop in load temp.

Gpu was running at 91c @100% load now running @ 61c
Cpu was running @ 51c @100% load now running @ 37c

since the clean last night the client in question has completed 5 WU's of which none have been reported as failed by HFM.

Update:

Ok for the sake of testing to see if it was just the client or my system getting worse i rigged up one of my dormant clients to run as GPU 0
And low and behold when running it runs normally without showing RunningAsync.
So i dont know how or what but there must be something wrong with my first GPU Client which would explain why when HFM was showing it as runningAsync it was completeing WU's without any problem.
All i need now is for someone to work out why it appears as runningasync and how i resolve it.
