Just seen this and it hasnt been posted before I don't think.

Im scared of heights and it freaks me out to think of people doing that.
 
I got dizzy on the Sennen coast path (from Sennen Cove to Land's End), which is walked by little kids and old ladies. That one is a little out of my league.

I walked a bit of the Bisse Du Roh in Switzerland a while ago.

it's not the walking on the pole that worries me, its that at some point the path I'm walking on collapsed :eek:
 
notice the rope along the walkway? attached to a safety rope?

It's some people walking quite close to the edge of a cliff. Yes it's probably quite scary because of the vertigo, but it isn't really that impressive to watch.

okay, fairly ****ing mental.

i'm presuming the wire on their right is a safety line that they're attatched to though?
 
From the looks of it he's not attached to a safety rope, although one guy he overtook along the way was.

Apparently the path is mostly used by climbers looking to climb in the area so it's not really surprising that they're not phased by walking on a pole etc.

been linked to loads of times but i never watched it all before, didn't realise the path was so rickety!

I would guess he is, i noticed there were a few breaks in it so he could have attached himself then without the viewers knowing. Climber or not only an idiot would do some of the things he did without some kind of safety measures
 
I have nightmares about those kind of heights. :eek:

Pretty mad the way he just skips past other people who are connected to the rope. Cool video, thanks for posting! ;)

If he was clipped onto the wire he would have to pause every time he passes a bolt, it would take ages, also he wouldn't have been able to pass the other walker without unclipping and clipping in again.

For a decent climber that isn't a very dangerous walk at all, a lot of people will be solo climbing those cliffs without any safety gear at all!
