I have been climbing for almost a year now, all indoor with a couple of outdoor sessions.

The first shoes I had were a bit too loose but the ones I have now are a tight fit - toes at the end and quite narrow on my wide feet. I can climb much better in them, up to about a v5 grade at the moment

It appears I have developed a 'bunion' - something I have heard of but only thought old people get them. Its a sticky out bone next to my big toe on my left foot. It used to only hurt a bit when climbing but I have noticed it without climbing shoes on for the past few days.

Is there anything I can do to stop it getting worse? I love climbing and want to carry on but not wreck my feet doing so

Toes are fine, its just the sticky out bones on the sides of my feet lower than big toes.

Dammit, maybe my pinks are just too narrow for my wide feet
