Clip Champ Video Editor

I've been messing around with the default Windows Video Editor and now Clip Champ. They seem to create massive files, about 3 times larger than the original (Teams Meeting Recording) which I'm just trimming, chop the start and end off. Has anyone found a work around other than using different software.

it's probably using an older file format, see if you can choose the format it saves in.
if not, use vlc to convert the file format.

It has no export options other than resolution. Unfortunately. I don't have access to other software on the work computers. I was wondering someone might have worked out some tricks.
