Clip on mic

i use the dx clip on mic (dx is the name of the website just google dx clip on mic), it's about £1.48 last time i checked, don't be fooled by the price it's on par with the £7-10 ones on amazon.

if you want something better you will need to spend at least £15+ on a mic.

Surprisingly no. dx.coms £1 something mic is as good as the Zalman and Speedlink equivalents, 5 and 7x more expensive respectively.

They aren't great though, you're audible and there isnt too much interference but the noise cancellation isn't that great and you do sound like you're in a Taliban cave somewhere in Afghanistan.

Guys quick one,

Recently bought myself a pair of CALs. Are clip on mics the way forward? If so do they vary in quality/price much?

I saw this on another one of your posts, struggling to find somewhere to buy it from in the UK.

Otherwise as you say on Amazon there is the Speedlink Spes & also the Zalman ZMMIC1 which seem to be getting decent reviews (around £7)

You must have read my mind? Thanks for chipping in

dx.com ships from taiwan or somewhere like that. Its approx a 10-14 day wait, but for the price savings its almost worth it (can get 2 pints with the difference!!) over the SPES.
