Clive Barkers Jericho Is it that bad?

As per the title... I am after a game to play for a bit.. Completed Crysis, got COD4 and GOW on the 360 and am currently playing UT3. But just wanted a half decent game with a decent story to play for a bit. I have found it for £15. Another choice is Timeshift...

Anyone?

TBF it has had conflicting views

Friend has it, and on his 8800GTX with everything cranked up it looks fantastic and plays VERY well.

some places hate it (IGN) yet custom PC magazine gave it near enough 90%. As a blast through game I would says its worth it.

It does look fantastic and I like it. Its got a lot of stuff that you either hate or love. I like the action shots where you press arrow keys based on what arrow is on screen. Others hate that.

I hated demo, but loved full game, very Linear and until you learn to use each peeps powers its not good but once you work out who is who and what powers they have its fun.

It depends on your expectations to be honest.... Don't expect anything revolutionary but if you just want a mindless but pretty looking shooter it's not bad at all

It's not bad. Plays great on 1900XT everything maxed out. The possesing bit makes it more interesting.

My personal take ? Both enjoyable games, more so on PC (i found). Personally there not full price buys, but both solid shooters that are bound to give quite a bit of enjoyment

Thats the wrong Timeshift Demo above.

The Demo was crap and looked like a cartoon, the game was took over by another Dev and totally rewritten to the Demo bellow:

Thats the multiplayer version... I have downloaded the 577mb demo version.. i notice there is a 900odd meg version is that the right one?

Played the 360 Demo of jericho and liked it but struggled with the controls... Like the guided sniper bullets are really hard to direct with a pad but hopefully should be loads better with a mouse.

I bought it, but have yet to complete the game. Seems ok to me after just a few minutes play!
