clock change rivatuner!

loaded up rivatuner to oc my cards and as i went out the room to get a pen and paper my 2 year old decided to grab the mouse and click away happily! on returning to find out that he has clicked the button for default drivers i seem to get a wrong reading for my clocks!
gpu core - 300mhz before -576mhz
gpu memory- 100mhz before- 999mhz
WTF!!!
i uninstalled my drivers and loaded up 185.85 drivers and uninstalled then reinstalled rivatuner and now it does says "no supported drivers detected for this display adaptor"
what is going on? as i dont seem to have lost performance!
cards are gtx260oc - 576/1296 -1998mem

did u use driver cleaner pro or driver sweeper ?

sorted it!!! installed driver 181.22! must be a conflict with the 185.85 as i had to go in through poweruser tab and manually put in 185.85 before i could get any oc option!

it sounds like the card is just dropping down to its idle clocks. normal behaviour

nice great to know u got it sorted next time dont leave your kid beside pc when rivatuner is on might clock your core to 1 ghz +

ive got this problem too, how did you get it 185.85 to work? or didnt you? im looking through the poweruser thing but cant see where im supposed to import drivers or what ever.... please help xP

idle/2D clocks .......

my 275 sits at 300 core and 100 memory when idling.( i.e. not 3d)

i found the solution
......
go to the power user tab

select "open database" and open rivatuner.rtd

then open the "rivatuner\system" tree

make sure that hexadecimal option is off in the rivatuner window

then scroll down till you find "forcedriverversion"

then double click the box next to it and type "18585"

and pow it works again, it still says driver not supported on the main window but you can access and activate your profiles again \o/ woooo for overclocking
