Clock freq reseting to 'auto'

Ive got my CPU (E6300) clocked to 2.8 on 1.2v.

For some reason every now and again the part in BIOS that says auto or manual clock freq returns to 'auto' and therefor switches my clock back to stock.

Nothing else in BIOS changes; the voltage stays at 'manual' setting and all the fan controls stay at what i set them to.

Any ideas?

The board is the GA-965P-DS3

No i dont think you can setup profiles in BIOS.

Just to add to the above.
I have the C1E, TM2 and CPU EIST all set to 'disabled'
The problem is the 'CPU host clock control' switching back to auto sometimes.

i used to get this and i found it to be a memory setting, one of the advanced ones.

cant for the life of me remember which it was though as i have changed stuff since.

Ok. Ill have a play and see what i can find. If you ever do remember what you did let me know, its driving me crazy.

Its probably some easy setting i have over looked. My RAM is not clocked at all in BIOS, its on stock settings.
