Apologies if something similar has been posted before, Couldnt find anything i wanted via search.
I was previously running
FX57
2x512's Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200XL Platinum @ stock timings
Asus Sli-Premium
2x XFX 512 6800Ultras @ Stock.
+ Rest in Sig.
With minor messing i got my machine to run quite happily with a moderate overclock @ 214*14 Bringing me to just under 3ghz.
Runs around 40*c Idle and hits 50/52 Under load
My new Ram arrived yesterday, some nice new ( very shiny ) OCZ Plats ( 2x1gs pc4000 ) and gave my 3d06 score an little kick from 3945 to 4772
Based on me being on Air cooling ( XP120, 120MM Ytech 125cfm fan ) and the idea that i 6volt all my fans at night when i sleep, im looking for any ideas towards what kinda overclock/ram timings i should be looking for.
Being on air, and remembering this before i decided to kick my FSB up to 250x14 as thats what the ram is rated at. I thought id some came take a look at what the experts thought. I really shouldnt be let loose with this type of toy .
Any Help towards Ram timings/ Overclock ideas would be great.
