clock not working???

hi guys,

the clock on my sony vaio laptop (as in the windows clock in the bottom right) stops working and i think it'll be fine then half a day later it will still say its middle mornin or something like that

i've tried it with the "sync with internet time" option on and off... no joy... any ideas?

i've only had the laptop 4 months... surely the battery can't be flat???

i'd better get onto sony then

EDIT: also, could this be related? i cant actually turn the laptop off (even on a fresh install of windows) i go to shut down, it all powers off as normal, then maybe 4-5 seconds later... it powers up again - in this case i then have to hold the power button for 4 seconds then it shuts off...

related issue?
