Hi
I'm having a problem with my clock since the clocks went back an hour last weekend, everytime I set it to the correct time (lets say 15:00) it will work away grand but it go backwards once it hits 15:58 or there about and start at 15:00 again if that makes sense?

I'm using 64bit windows 8,anyone any advice please?

Why would you manually set your clock? If you have DST enabled in your clock Time Zone settings, Windows would have done it automatically when the time comes.

Is your time zone set to the correct one?

Yup,UTC DUBLIN,LONDON,LISBON

I Didn't manually set I thought it would have changed itself but it didn't,I noticed it was wrong on Monday and that's when I tried to set it right and this happened.

Is this a work PC which is part of a workplace (domain) network? Or is this a standalone home computer?

Run services.msc, scroll down and find a service named "Time", make sure it's status reads "Started" and the start up type is set to "Automatic".

Do you know exactly how many minutes it mis-syncs it by?

Hi thanks for you reply

Its a home computer,The problem I'm having is that its 12:37 now,at 1 pm now the computer clock will go back wards to 12 and it will keep doing this,I have to use timewindows.com to sync, its very annoying.

Start up type is manual but I can't change it for some reason

I had a similar issue when the clocks went back.

I altered the clock in the bios to the correct time, and all has been well since.
