Hi, I think this is the most relevant section to ask this. I am looking at buying a clock radio. One of the radio stations I listen to the most is TalkSport on the AM frequency. A lot of these clock radio's seem to be DAB/FM & MW with relatively few with the AM frequency.

My question is does DAB and or MW pick up the AM frequency or will I need to look for a radio that specifically has AM frequency?

Many thanks.

The 2 most common types of analogue broadcast radio are FM and AM. AM is split into MW & LW (and SW too), so it will be fine.

I think TalkSport uses one of the old Radio 1 MW frequencies of 1089.
