Rightio, one of my friends has the followign setup, included is a current CPU-Z dump if it helps.
Intel Pentium 540 3.2Ghz Prescott LGA775 currently @ 3.257GHz (bit random I know)
1.32v
Mult - x16
FSB - 203.14
Bus Speed 814
CPUZ Dump
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=85399
MSI MS-6728
2x1gb Geil Value
2,3,2,6 (by CPU-Z)
RAM currently on a 5:4 divider running at 162.2 MHz
This started out at trying to tweak the timings on his RAM, as he has the same as me, and mine will run at 2.5-3-3-6 with a slight overclock on them.
When he tightend the timings, the motherboard compensated, i think, by dropping the divider to DDR333 (think thats what 5:4 is)
Now I wondered what the options are with this motherboard, is anyone knows, and what options are available with Intel overclocking so I can help my mate out? Should he try and set the timings back to default?
thanks for any help
