Hi guys, having just built my new machine, I thought I'd try my hand at overclocking - never done it before.

Q6600(G0)
2*2GB Corsair XMS2 800mhz
P5QL
Arctic Freezer 7

So, bear in mind that I really don't know what I'm doing here - I've read guides and stuff but I just seem convinced I'll set fire to my computer or something. Anyway, what I've done so far is:

Changed the FSB to 380, and the Multiplier to 8, giving 3Ghz (about 50C under load). I was hoping for around 3.2-3.4 where should I go from here? I changed the FSB to 400 but that didn't work - do I need to up the vCore so that it runs stably at higher FSBs? How much is ok and safe? What are the best sort of settings for about 3.3Ghz?

Thanks a lot for reading, I appreciate any help!
