Hey guys, bit of a vague title but anything else wouldnt fit..So basically im wanting to clone my OS drive onto my other drive, but Acronis True Image WD*Edition wants to delete everything off my destination drive, obviously this is not ideal and i would prefer it if it didnt (almost 300gb of stuff there) .. Is there anything else i can do to stop that from happening? apart from the dreaded re-install of windows etc which i dont want to do.

Clone makes a 1:1 copy on the destination hard drive
Create Image makes one huge file with a 'snapshot' of your whole drive. You can boot from the CD in future and restore this 'snapshot' to any other hard drive.

^Does that make sense?

I've not used the WD edition, if it only has clone and not create image, then download Macrium Reflect and create a boot cd of that to use instead.

Im going to take a wild guess but i guess creating an image is only if you have windows installed, my OS drive is 32gb in size, hence why i was hoping to do a clone - WD edition i can make an image with it
