Hey guys,
I'm having some trouble with Clonezilla. I've trying to copy the contents of a 60GB SSD to a 240GB SSD using the basic Clonezilla running from a USB. The problem I have is that when I tell it to go ahead copying disk to disk it comes up with this error which is, in part (I can't remember the rest), "mismatched GPT and MBR".
I did some research and read Clonezilla's FAQ but I really can't understand what it's talking about - I'm a noob at this and just simply want to make a copy of my hard drive. I'm running Windows 7 so in disk management checked to see whether my hard drives were GPT or MBR. My current 60GB drive is MBR so I thought I'd set the other to MBR. Did that, and nothing changed, still the same error. So I formatted the new hard drive to ensure that it showed up in my computer, and that didn't help - same error again.
Please help! I'm really quite confused, and what I thought would be a simple process has suddenly become rather complicated.
Thanks in advance,
dirtychinchilla
