I have read through some posts about cloning drives and using the acronis (sp?) software to do this.
Just need to know exactly how it works. I currently have a 500gb drive that is partitioned in to 5. I'm looking to get a 1tb drive and clone everything across. Is this what the software does, copy the whole drive (all partitions) and paste onto a new drive?
Also how exactly is it done? Do you just install the new drive when it arrives then run the software on the old drive and it copies across?
