Hey,

So I have a bunch of email accounts / calendars setup on my laptop on Outlook 2013, and what I want to do is replicate them all on my desktop using Outlook 2010.

The end goal being that I should be able to fire up Outlook from either machine and get the exact same experience... but I don't want to go about configuring everything from scratch on the second machine!

Does anyone know a good way to do this please?

Cheers,

Su

Cool thanks Chris, I'll give that a go!

[edit] Hmm, I don't have the registry keys mentioned in that article :(

Did you look under the "Windows NT" subkey, not the "Windows" subkey?
That article has split the reg path into two lines so maybe you missed the continuation of 'NT' on the next line? It exists on mine.

Hey,

Found a solution - apparently the key is kept in a different location under Office 2013:

http://www.wintips.org/backup-restore-outlook-account-settings/

In Outlook 2013 right-click to “Export” the “Profiles” key found under this location on the registry:

e.g: “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profiles” key.

If I import this on the other machine though, it's not going to work right? (Because that machine is using 2010, which I guess will look for the keys in the other location?)

Maybe I should just set it up from scratch...!

Cheers,

Su
