Cloning Pc's

Hi

I have 2 machines with exactly the same set up.

One is loaded with windows 7 64 bit with all the updates and software etc.
The other is going to be the same, loaded with the same software.

Now to save me going through the exact same steps installing windows and updates.. cant i just clone the drive and rename the new pc? (to avoid network issues?)

I dont have a server, just a small lan

+1 for Clonezilla. Windows 7 system image is also a good shout (though I find Clonezilla more reliable). Cannot comment on Macrium.
