Had a very close call today. I was at this traffic light controlled junction
I am in the red, jackass in the blue.
Basically i got green light i go next thing i know this silver fiesta is hurtling toward my side with what looked like to be a fair bit of speed. I couldn't really do much except brace for the impact.
Which was minimal no idea how he managed to scrub so much speed of so quickly. A little bump no damage so his car but a further dint added to the list to the Mondeo.
Pulled over got his details and the details of a witness. I made it to my destination and i basically broke down could have been so much worse if he hit me at the speed he was travelling i reckon i would have been in hospital right now so phew.
The guys excuse i didn't see the light......
I am in two minds about even bothering with insurance at the end of the day it is a 10 year old mondeo with 150K on the clock they will just write it off. Also if everything goes well i should have my 200SX back on the road. So i really don't know what to do.
