close to migrating to 02 - online gaming though?

Hi all,

Well I'm a heavy online gamer and as such am leaving TISCAPEX (one of the worst companies I've dealt with) and am subsequently looking for a new ISP.

I was looking at BE unlimited but as I won't be able to achieve anything higher than 8mbps with my distance to the exchange etc. there's no point in going for a "24 mb service etc."

Anyway I've noticed that o2 are doing a £7.50 per month contract for o2 payg customers (me ) ... they also have everything in the standard package I am looking for (unlimited usage etc.)

My only worry is are they good for online gaming as one of the main things I use the net for is this. I need a nice low ping of 10-20 and not 40-60 as TISCAPEX insist is playable.

I've been with 5 ISP's the best for gaming (lowest ping, no lag spikes) was Be I'd still be with them but I moved to a cable area and the max I could get from ADSL was 2mb
