Also im wondering if my antec heo 500watt psu will be enough for this upgrade ?

It looks good, I might suggest an aftermarket cooler though, just pick one from - Noctua NH-U12F, Scythe Ninja, Tuniq Tower. Your PSU should be fine, is it ATX 2.0 compliant? If not you may need adapters. :)

keep the hard drive its faster than the deskstar and there silent too the balistix ram is better tho

i thought the deskstar was quicker

The new ones are :p not the one you linked to ;)

I'd go for the WD he has mentioned or the Seagate 7200.10.

ok sorry im talking carp :o

i did mean the new hitachi's

if there expensive then i would recommend the Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB as i have 2 of these in raid 0 and there super fast, allways first into the chopper on bf2142 :D

Id wait till those games are out before getting a card for them, ppl are saying that 320mb wont be enough for all those higher res textures, and i wouldn't buy an 8 series for Dx10 anyway as its not here yet, buy it for the now, Dx9, the 8 series are already 6 months old, thats a helluva long time in graphics cards, they are already out of date and theres zero Dx10 games, and by the time those games appear, or any Dx10 games for that matter, the 8800's will be out of production as the next lot of faster/better Dx10 cards will be here.:)

If you want card for those games, dont get the slowest cards you can get for them, and thats all of Nvidia's range of cards, and all of ATi's new range of cards which are due next week.

Be best of getting the 320mb GTS for the now seen as they are cheap, and then upgrading again when those games start to appear.
