I have been full water cooling for a while now and found it hinders upgrades at times just haslles draining and refilling etc

Im thinking of buy a Closed loop 240 or 360 which ones are good i saw OCUK labs 360 clc on deals and was wonder what ones are good.

For performance I can recommend the Alphacool Eisbaer 360mm CLC, only thing I found not 100% was that the tubes are a little too short for my liking, otherwise a great cooler :)

I've done the opposite to you, I've gone from CLCs to custom water cooling :)

nice its is good having full water cooler its just a pain to drain the loop all the time lol as my x79 is OC to 4.5ghz I take it any good CLC like yours the OCUK on and say h100 would be fine?

Simple answer is yes the AIOs are much improved in pump tech etc. at the lower end mostly from them becoming more popular so economy of scale has meant better manufacturing.

I've treated myself to a Kraken X62 with it's ability to integrate with the CAM software which I already use to control a GRID+ fan hub for the case fans. Overkill really for just a mild OC i7 5820K.

Similar system I built from spare parts but also an i7 5820K @ 4.0GHZ runs a Corsair H45 (space dictated 120mm) which I bought at less than £40 with a discount. It's impressed me so far as the pump isn't noisy and appears to be a current gen with variable speed. The standard fan does have a slightly whiny motor though so I swapped it out so something has to suffer at that price point!

Will it last .. who knows but it's adequate for my 2nd system and is at a throw away price point if it lasts a couple of years.

Nice I got a good deal on an h100 extreme v2, noise should be an issue as i have a 6 channel fan controller and air ripper fans. Also decided to shrink my case from a 900d to a entho pro mid I quite liked it when i built a rig for a mate.
