A few changes to earlier config. I need confirmation that the swiftech will work with AM2, but I'm anticipating whatever Intel do with Conroe, AMD will better within a year on AM2, and my next minor upgrade will be in about a years time. I don't want to be stuck with then-obsolete DDR1 and 939. I can justify a £250 CPU in a years time to the missus much easier than I can a new MB/RAM/CPU combo 8)

Thoughts?

I'd look at going for the 570 SLI motherboard instead, saves you some cash and makes buggery all difference to what you get (look at the feature comparison charts on Anandtech or DailyTech).

Apart from that it looks like a good spec. Not sure about the 7950 as I havn't heard anything about it yet.
