Closest PSX game to Virtua Fighter 2

I loved VF2 on Arcade and Saturn but unfortunately it was never ported to Playstation.

What's the next closest thing?

Dead or Alive has some of the VF2 sounds and characters are oddly very similar. Kensei - Sacred Fist also comes quite close

I’ve played the Tekken series and yes its a great game but not the same style as VF2.
Dead or alive and Kensei and more like VF.

Thanks, will have a look at Bloody roar 2 aswell.
Why did Sega never release Virtua fighter 2 on Playstation / PSP? It would have been a huge seller.
Where was a PC version which was great and ran well on Windows 98

Good game. However only battle arena toshinden 3 was 60fps and only in an optional mode that was untextured.

Edit. Dead or alive certainly seems the closest game so far to Virtua Fighter
