Closing my ear gauges

When I got rid of my 12mm I found that keeping it well moisturised helped a treat, I've since stretched it again though :p It didn't heal completely, but getting a 4mm taper in after nearly a year was really difficult.

A gauge is a unit of measurement, so you may as well be saying you're wanting to close your inches!

Depends how bad/good you're stretching was. If it was slow and done properly with no cat's bum or tearing then the success of a cleaner close is higher. If you rushed it and "ripped" the ear in the process, as many of the uneducated in body modifications do, then you'll most likely be left with horrible scars.

Some piercers can perform a percedure to help close them. basically ear is scalpalled and sown up.

I want to close my inches!

Sorry, I'll not call them gauges ;)

Anyways, my friends and girlfriend comment on how "Circular" my lobe is from where it's been stretched, it is like a smooth circle on the inside and doesn't look like a cats ass really. I did rip the ear once though, I will be honest. That was at 4mm.

I'm not going to say "you shouldn't have done it in the first place" but I am going to say "Why would anyone want to?" I've seen peoples ear lobe the size of a sellotape reel before

And yeah, I know some friends who have 30mm stretchers... To each their own, but I want rid.

My hair isn't actually hair. It's a helmet made to look like hair.

But in all seriousness, my hair is odd, it needed washing at that point... :>
 
That glorious head of hair cannot be treated by conventional methods, surely! Let us in on the secret. Is it a wire brush and pan or perhaps an elaborate arrangements of pulleys, weights and matchsticks, hmm?

e : Jesus Christ, I've just looked at the picture again and that hair do must add at least 6 inches to your height! Were you a magnificent goalkeeper in your youth?

I'm holding back the laughter right now as people may think I'm insane.

Anyway! I'm still in my "Youth" being 18 years old... Unless that's now considered elderly. Who knows.

It's all an elaborate ploy to try and fool people so they think I'm taller than I am, I did always used to be the short one at school, so I think it's doing it's job. :cool:
 
Rather than start another thread I thought I would ask in here. I've elongated my neck with Kayan style brass rings and I now want to take them off in order to perform better in job interviews. The only problem is my neck now lolls over to one side without them. Does anyone have any tips? It wasn't a fad or anything, it was deeply important to me but now I think I look better in a nice pair of brogues and a well cut suit.

Flesh coloured plugs are an option.. However if I could close them enough that would be more ideal. It's personal preference really, if worst comes to worst flesh plugs will be fine though.

I felt the same way as you dude, also had mine strecthed to 10mm but I didn't want it to be viewed negatively by employers so I took mine out. That was about 3 months ago and it's now just a slit. I know my current employer won't care as I mostly work from home (he's actually a member of the forum, and it seems, has brass rings around his neck. I doubt he even knew, until this post, about any ear piercing haha...don't fire me) and I hate the idea that people will judge you on the basis of what's in your ear lobe, but unfortunately people do.

So, I would just take it out and not even bother with the smaller ones...I read that massaging your ear encourages blood flow and therefore healing of the cells, and moisturising it is also good.
