Hello the GD :)

Closure was invented by the Romans in 1122BC and has literally and un-literally been a mainstay of civilization since that time I mentioned before but the hard part being that you can't reload when Ghengis goes full on nuts at you when you're on Turn 224 and about to go Modern times, so Sid, have a word with yourself because your game sucks, or I do, so. No dad, YOU.

The term 'closure' is often used to mean an ending, a closed road, a dead end, a finality. Perhaps the end of a relationship, or an agreeable discussion, the outcome of a medical, an acceptance of 'stuff'.

What do you, GD's finest, plan for, or take in stride, or ignore?

My life is, right now, a sentient r/relationships thread. What is this closure you speak of?
Thank you MP, and also Narj to a lesser extent, but my main worry is of all things about a popular Canadian sitcom. This is not a joke. Seasons three, four and five have been mainlining towards a crucible and I just want the best for David and Patrick, Alexis and Ted, Johny and Moira, and the whole ensemble in season 6.

Moving away from my very specific focus, keen to hear thoughts on other closures.

Well, I'm not keen on the closure of this thread because I think it has mileage.

I am however reminded of a time where an overly swift closure of a car door resulted in a strangulated testicle and an ER visit for a childhood friend of mine.

Could we re cap in a way which isn't *checks notes* horrific?

And lessons learned! What does closure bring? Bueller? Anyone?

It was a long time ago, but as he told it he was in a rush to get in the car and get home after school and kind of threw himself into the passenger seat whilst grabbing the car door behind him.

Because he was trying to do it in one fluid motion and not very well coordinated, he landed on 'himself' and immediately realised the mistake.

Luckily he kept it.
