clothes brands from 80s and 90s

Lucky you, when I grew up in the 70's brands were things you put into hot coals. The epitome of style were those horrid nylon parkers with fur hoods that turned you into a human torch if you even dared get near the cooker. I once had a brown duffle coat... and don't even get me started on the red tank top with a blue and white flowery shirt (sort of a flashback to the 60's flower power).

Perhaps we should illustate our fashion faux pax with some pictures :)
 
Global Hypercolor! T-shirts that changed colour with heat, could make hand prints on them.

What were those back packs that every single youth in places like France and Italy used to wear in the 90s? Cant remember the brand. I always wanted one but they didnt sell them in the UK.
 
I see Converse mentioned above... who on earth permitted girls to wear these things? They are absolutely everywhere these days.

Those vile flab definition revealing tight leggings with bright red converse stuck on the end of a huge set of tree trunk legs. Brutal.
