I need to be informed of shops that sell clothes if that is at all possible.

Clothes that one might label under: "alternative" "emo" "indie" "skater"

Stuff like: Atticus, Dickies, Volcom and other some such things.

Also, I found 8ball.co.uk, and I like that shop's tshirts, any similar shops? They have nice Jazz tshirts, so anything like that that anyone knows of?

BOO YER, Cheers in advance.

(Ooh, and I already know about http://www.grindstore.com/ and attitude clothing)

I'm not emo, it's just the clothes shops that sell emo clothes are also ones likely to sell clothes I like. I do lean more towards skater though. And for example, I've just got back from town having bought clothes from Bench, Carhatt, Element and Volcom.

Keep the links coming people!

No Offence but arnt those brands just brand that by a whole heap of cheap **** in Bulk then Label it as there owns by sticking there name on it then Selling it for **** loads of Proffit?

Could be but i just seem to find that those are the worst at it and they die the soonest while some other brands some cheaper some more expensive are just made out of much more Quallity stuff.

I'm a brand whore when it comes to clothes :p

The Volcom and Element stuff is pretty good. I've got a pair of Volcom jeans that have lasted me about 2 nearly 3 years and a couple of Element tops that have lasted about 4 years. The Volcom stuff is pretty high grade, the jeans anyway. Zoo York stuff lasts well also.

Ye Zoo York is good too. I see you live in Nottingham. Went to Non-Stop today, you must know it :p wicked shop.

it used to be that if you wanted to be alternative you used a combination of birmingham rag market AND making your own clothes...

i fail to see how spending £40 on a top and £50 on a pair of trousers from an "alternative" clothing shop will give you individuality...

I didn't say I wanted individuality, I want clothes that I like the look of.

i just get a little rattled at these "alternative" shops as they charge a premium for these clothes. far more than standard clothing and as much as i like the stuff i refuse to pay for it most of the time. although i did treat myself to a rather nice black cotton 3 quarter length coat done out in an 18th centuary british millitary design... it looks very final fantasy 7. :D

There's no doubt most of the clothes are a rip-off, the cost of making them is always utterly tiny. But that's the situation, and it isn't going to be changing anytime soon. So I'll just be thankful I have MILLIONS OF MILLIONS OF POUNDS so I can afford it all.
