hey guys... I was just thinking of doing some online shopping for clothes but was wondering what's your opinion on this?
I haven't got my measurements yet so going to get a tape measure in a minute from somewhere in london.

what's your stance on online shopping?

I was browsing an asian style clothes site and some of the stuff looks good and really cheap but without knowing how it fits makes it to be a waste of money...

this for example looks alright (down to personal opinion) but look at the fittings. I need to get my sizes checked first.

I use Asos and Size? for all my clothes online. Never had a problem with either, and all of their sizes are nice and fitting.

... And that top looks very gay.

I find clothes vary in size too much to order things online. I know what I would end up doing, ordering a top that is a bit too small but not bothering to return it and then it end up being left in a drawer.

but if you know the measurements of the item and yourself surely it can't be varying?

Clothes vary from shop to shop. Although i dunno how true this is for men clothing, but i do know women clothes can vary. The clothes i buy online is childrens clothes, but i go to the store to see the clothes when buying for myself

I find that they vary. I try different jeans on of the same size and some are too tight but others would fall down. Even with shoes I get this. I'm a size 12 and I tried some trainers on in Burton. I could nowhere near get my foot into them. I even asked for another pair in case they were labelled wrong but that made no difference. In the same shop I tried a differnent shoe on the size 12 was way too big. I tried the 11 and it was much too small. If I had of ordered any of these online it would turn into more work posting them back than visiting a shop in the first place.

even within the same brand it can be misleading.

I can get into a SMALL Mac coat from Superdry, but if i buy their shirt i need a Large one?

But i DO buy clothes online, mostly from ASOS because they do free returns.

I only really buy t-shirts online, ''Small'' always fits me it's either a tad too large which is no problem or it fits perfectly.

Going to bump this, but can you guys suggest any good online clothing stores? I've had a look around town (Burton, Topman, Zara, BHS) but there's nothing really there.

I'm looking for a fairly cheap 'does a good job' hoodie. Nothing flash. I've had a look at asos and m&m but nothing really takes my fancy.

Cheers.
