I didn't think I'd be making this post today as in my mind, the very notion would be madness......
However, in the world we currently live in, I though it might be safer to consult the knowledge of many for either the actual law or opinion.

Swear words on clothing - is this a potential problem?
Turns out a nephew of mine is a fellow Muse fan. He has got a birthday coming up and has expressed interest in a Muse branded hoodie - https://store.muse.mu/uk/clothing/mens/will-of-the-people-graffiti-track-hoodie.html
On inspection, I can see that the album track listings are printed across the back and for any other Muse fans, they will be aware of the final track title.

Obviously it is ultimately his decision. He's very early 20s - so not like I'm considering a purchase for a minor. He still lives at home, parents don't have an issue.
What I really don't want to do is make a purchase and then hear at some point in the future there is any kind of "trouble" over it. I suspect the worst I'd hear would be a "please take that off" - if he is going to comply of course.....

Anyway, just wondered if there are any specifics on this - it's not exactly "public outrage" but I can definitely see some people being offended.

Thanks for all the replies - didn't get a chance to check back yesterday. Just wanted to address a couple:

"Don't be such an old fart" - I am not exactly young any more, middle aged. But at no point did I express any personal issue with this. I too had read a few stories of over-zealous police and items of clothing, so just wanted to check in. Didn't want to be involved with any purchase that could "cause an issue for anyone".
"Do you approve" - Of course, I have absolutely no problem at all with said item of clothing.
"First World Problems" - Remove all the first world problems from the various online forums and you wouldn't have a great deal left to chat about, certainly nothing that wasn't overly depressing.

I'd happily wear the hoodie myself - so OK, I'm mid-40s, but I can get away with a hoodie as much as the next middle-aged person wanting to re-live their youth!
We're in a very "sensitive" world at the moment, one I truly hope we grow out of - just wanted to make sure I wasn't breaching any new laws on "hurty feelings" before making purchase.

Early 20s and you had to check with his parents hahahahaah wtf?
No, I didn't HAVE to check with his parents at all.
He lives at home and I felt it was just polite to ask their opinion before going any further. As expected, the response was "no problem at all".
However, for all I'd known I could have had a "While he's under my roof......" or "If he wants to spend his own money on cr*p like that then fine, I won't have other people spending......."
It was simply a cursory check-in before I placed the order.
