Cloud 2 headset, is it possible to extend the cable?

I have a cloud 2 headset, but i dont use the USB dongle as i would prefer to use my soundcard.

Im looking for a cable that allows me to use the mic and also have volume control.

I know its a 4 pole jack on the end of the cloud 2 headset ( mic and stereo ).

Anyone got any ideas?

Look for a trrs extension cable.

When I soldered a new cable onto mine the poles were different than expected, then again there are several different standards so I think you'll struggle to get inline volume control.
