cloud storage

Hi

Just bought some extra cloud storage (20gb) as I was running low on the 5gb with all my photos and backups.

I was a bit reluctant to pay for more but for 79p a month I wasn't to bothered.

How many of you have purchased more cloud storage?

I was hoping it would be like dropbox where they do incentives and they give you more space based on purchases and the like, but Apple don't seem to do that?

Yeah, I signed up for the 200Gb package a while ago and today I had an email telling me the price has gone down from £2.99/month to £2.49.

/edit - I think you now get 50Gb for your 79p, not just 20Gb.

yeah just saw the other thread on here, checking now.

/edit - yes indeed 50gb, thats great, can't see myself ever reaching that so thats really good.

Does that mean the free 5gb storage will increase to 20gb???, if thats the case I will cancel my plan and go back to free storage?

I put the flickr app and auto upload on and took my pictures out of the icloud backup so I now have plenty of space for both can't see me filling flickr's 100GB!

I love the seamless uses of iCloud and the extra space is welcomed.

However, I'd like a better file management option and some more functionality like Dropbox

The iCloud app on iOS is welcome with iOS9 however on the Mac I would like a way of knowing if something has been uploaded (similar to the green ticks in dropbox) as at the moment I have no idea when (if) it is uploaded.
