Hi all,
Just a quick question. I recently had a water meter fitted in my house. All is cool with that but I've noticed that my water comes out a bit more cloudy now. It doesn't taste strange or anything but I just want to make sure it's not melting my insides or anything. A mate at work has the same problem and was told it could be 'airation of the water'???
Worth calling in someone to check?

well, my gf had a glass of squash and it formed a bit of a head on it after it settled.
if i run the tap for a little while then fill a glass it settles to pretty much normal i've noticed.

Yeah I got that just after my water meter was fitted a few months back - its gone now, give it a little while or a few baths and it should clear up.

give the cold mains tap a good flush full bore for a few minutes - should help clear the air in your water supply pipework

btw tap water will taste much better if kept in a jug in your fridge - gives a chance for some of the chlorine to evaporate

enjoy :)
