My few week old Sony Z3C has its magnetic charging port very loose - I suspect its going to fall out at any moment.

What's the best option for getting it repaired - especially time wise.

Should I go through Clove (where I purchased it from) or go to Sony directly?

I have a feeling Sony might be quicker as all that Clove will do is to forward it onto Sony?

I contacted Clove when my Z3 Compact had a problem with the sd card/USB port flap kept popping out on it's own.
The phone was 5 weeks old and they said that I may be too late to get a replacement and would probably have to have it sent to Sony to repair.
Luckily they asked Sony as it was just past the cutoff time whether or not I can have a replacement and they agreed, but unfortunately they didn't have any stock so I got a refund and went for the Z3 instead.

Best to call them up and explain the situation due to the time passed so they can initiate a RMA with Sony and see if they are willing to offer a replacement despite being just over the 28 days period.

Bugger! Just realised that Clove are not open on weekends, best send them an email or call them up first thing on Monday.
